Organic Chia Preserves Recipe

These Preserves are delicious and packed with Nutrition! I always have frozen Fruit in the Freezer. I buy organic fruits when on sale and usually end up with too much – so in the Freezer it goes. I'll then pull them out for smoothies or recipes like the one I'm about to share with you!

For The Preserves:

  • 1/2 cup each of fresh or frozen Blueberries and Raspberries, if frozen, just set them on the counter to thaw. 
  • Mash the Fruit in separate Bowls using a Potato Masher.
  • Add a pinch of vanilla extract (optional) and a Low-glycemic-sugar-like blue-agave. 
  • Add 2–3 Tablespoons of Chia Seeds
  • Refrigerate for about 30 minutes or overnight before using.
